A Weekend In New York City...

The summer has come to an end and so we decided that we would end our summer with a fun trip to New York City with Steve and Becca! We had so much fun so beware of all the pictures I took! :)We woke up bright and early to take the Mega Bus at 6:30 A.M. that took us right to New York City for only $15 a person...As you can see we're barely awake haThis is our bus that we took...I was quite suprised of how nice it was for only $15!

The streets of New York City is something else...there are people EVERYWHERE!On the left side of the picture with 'The Lion King' poster is MTV Records...While we were walking down the streets of New York there was a poster of a new T.V. Series and the guy who is in it is the one who plays 'Joseph Smith' in our Work and The Glory movies ha ha

Becca & I in the middle of Time SquareAll the wonderful Broadway shows that I wanted to see...especially The Wicked!!! We were so bummed that it was sold out...we wanted to go so bad! ....David Letterman Show...While walking down the streets of Time Square we came across two pizza places of the names of our BROTHER-IN-LAWS....there wasn't a pizza place named after you Mike...but there is the most amazing pastry shop in Boston known as MIKE'S pastry's!! :)

Us in Central Park...the park was HUGE we thought we had walked through it a good ways but ended up just 1/8 of it ha ha!
While walking around in Central Park there was some softball games going on...so of course Jeff was all over that...so we stopped and watched it for a little while...he wanted to go out there and play with them ha!Thanks to Stevey he took this awesome picture of us looking up at the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING!Us girls at 'Serendipity' for those who have seen the movie Serendipity this is where it was filmed! We wanted to go in and get some yummy dessert but the wait was an hour...dang it!

This is our wonderful little hotel that we stayed in Brooklyn...it was the tiniest hotel I've ever seen ha!

Our little 4x4 bedroom ha ha...hey it worked and was cheap!

Us in the crazy Subway Station of New York....we were so use to the Boston subways that were so clear cut ha we got a little lost a few times!

It still amazes me that it actually happened and the fact of how close all the buildings are that were surrounding it!
This is the Grand Central Station....for those who have seen the movie 'My Best Friends Wedding' this is where they chase each other to find Cameron Diaz!

This is Chinatown..let me tell ya it was as if we were in another country then our own ha ha there was no english writing anywhere just their symbols and it STUNK like no other...we honestly were all dry heiving!!!

Here we are in front of the Statue of Liberty!This monument is right where the Statue of Liberty was and I thought it was neat! It represents all the marines of America...

...Us at Radio City...For those who have seen The Best of Will Ferrall on Saturday Night Live this is the Spartan Cheerleaders ha ha (I thought of you mom on that one!)This is also from Saturday Night Live....I need more cowbell!! For those who have not seen it, it is way too funny!!
We took a little break in a chocolate store...I didn't get anything crazy I know ha but it was real nice to relax for a bit!
We all loved Central Park so we thought we'd go back and walk through it some more..I thought this area was so pretty, it felt like a dome of trees above us!This is supposivly the 'Ice Rink' in Central Park where the movie Serendipity was filmed but it had a mini carnival going on....Jeff at the Madison Square Gardan where the New York Knicks play!
We got to see the Yankee Stadium on our way home back to Boston....we were hoping we'd see it!
