Portland, Maine

This past Sunday we got the opportunity to take a sweet '2 hour' drive to Portland, Maine! Let me tell ya it was exciting ha! The fact that it was pouring rain pretty much the whole time we were driving up there...just our luck....for awhile there, we thought it might of not been worth it...but our luck changed and it cleared up and was a beautiful day! :)

This is the harbor that we went and saw right when we got there....there was a good amount of people walking around with their families, people roller bladding, biking and flying kites! I love Sundays like that!

One of the reasons why we went to Maine was so that Jeff could finally say that he has been at the 'four corners' of the U.S.A. He went on his mission to Alaska, he's been to Hawaii and Florida Keys so he just needed to go to Maine...so we DID!

Us trying to take a sweet picture together with Maine behind us ha ha!Maine is known for their many lighthouses and this is the first one we saw....it a was a little one ha but it was right by the harbor where we were at! The way you get to it is large rectangular stones that have slits with the water underneath it...I was holding my camera for dear life...if I dropped it my life would be over ha ha! (Me without a camera...life wouldn't be the same!!) This was a sweet monument right by the Harbor! It was huge, as you can tell with me standing in front of it!
This lighthouse is known as Portland Head Lighthouse! It is in a little city known as Cape Elizabeth! I loved this lighthouse....I thought it was so cute especially with the Victorian house connected to it!
Us with the Killpacks & Lloyds! We had so much fun with them, like we always do! A very generous but unique man took our picture....ha ha he looked like Santa Claus with a bad bad sunburn! :) He told us to stand on the bench so that we were the same level as the lighthouse ha he was a funny guy!

This is us in the city of Portland with cute little shops and restrauants all around! It was a really cute town! We had so much fun and we were glad to spend it with good friends! Thanks for the fun day Lloyds and Killpacks! :)
