...What Have We Been Up To...

...lots and lots! So don't mind that this post is like three different places in one! So brace yourselves for a long one ha!

A couple of weeks ago we made a trip down to 'Little Italy' to go eat some pastries and ice cream at the Famous Boston Mike's Pastry!

Here's of course the Stud of the Hour.....Nixon enjoying our ice cream and wanting more!

So happy they are out here with me this summer!

This lady that was SUPPOSE to be a STATUE but she was horrible at it....not to be rude or anything ha ha but this lady never stood still for one minute! Its like she would dance with her arms to get people's attention instead of just standing still like she was SUPPOSE too! We were all just watching her ha ha it was so weird!

So Christine got to go to Alaska with her family for a week so her little girl Hudson stayed with Cassie while she was gone....So with Cassie having three kids of her own...I got to play mom for the day and Hudson was my little girl that day! She was so sweet and seriously so quiet! It was fun playing mom....lets just hope I can do that with my OWN kids sooner than later!!!

The following day we had a BEACH DATE...just the two of us! It was so nice! I love dates with my hubby! So we decided to check out a new beach and so we went to HAMPTON BEACH...and it was a good one!

While we were there...a SAND DESIGN COMPETITION was going on....it was ridiculous!

So cool....We were amazed! They have some talent there...thats for sure!

Here we are having a date on the beach...just the two of us...and we weren't there for too long because it started POURING RAIN! So we had to cut our date short at the Hampton Beach in New Hampshire and decided to go beach hunting in Massachusetts ha ha! Well we didn't find one that was close enough that was worth the stop so we went home then later finished our date with a dinner at Chilli's! And it was delicious!

Just last Saturday Andrea, Melissa, Jes and I decided to go check out this cute little town called Rockport....which happened to be where the movie THE PROPOSAL was filmed!!! It was so cool!

Right when we pulled up and parked the car it started to rain! Just our luck! So we figured it would stop soon  so we would still go check it out, besides they had a good amount of cute little antique shops there that we could check out till the storm passed.....Well that didn't happen! It rained the ENTIRE time we were there...so in order for us to check out the town we would have to just suck it up and walk in the rain since none of us had an umbrella in handy... and not to mention that I was wearing a WHITE shirt that day....hmmm...bad idea??

This was a cute bookstore that was so small that it had these twirly stairs we had to walk up to go upstairs and downstairs to look at all the books! Cute Ange posing on the stairs ha! I started getting dizzy walking up and down those things!

Do you recognize this picture??? That would be the dock area where Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds walk down that LADDER by the red barn to get in their boat! They must have created a dock underneath the ladder where they climbed down on in the movie!

Does this place look familiar too? Yep...cause that would be where she goes into town and goes to that little shop that has the computer and she hear's the dial tone?? You remember that part? That would be where it took place! Crazy huh? They said that they had completely redid the town by creating their own business signs...such as all the PAXTON businesses! They even brought in FAKE PINE TREES as well to make it more Alaskan like!

This is the spot where Gertrude and Andrew are talking to each other while Margret is on the computer and sees them and starts getting jealous!!! Don't worry that I went straight home and watched the movie! It was so cool to actually be where they filmed one of my FAVORITE shows!

The town was so cute....I want to go back just to check out ALL the shops without the RAIN of course!!!

Cute little ice cream shop! I think we would've stopped there if it wasn't RAINING so hard!!!

Here we are at a small Mexican/American restraunt that we ate at! One of the guys there was nice enough to take this wonderful picture of us soaking wet...thank goodness that my shirt wasn't see through because it was completely SOAKED! And to mention the guy was nice enough to get us all towels to wipe off ha ha!

We seriously had so much fun even in the RAIN! It honestly made it even better that it was because we will never forget it! We were all just laughing and just didn't care about being completely SOAKED! One of my favorite places we got to see so far this summer!
