Christmas Lunch & Sub For Santa At Work!

I honestly am so lucky to have such amazing and FUN girls that I work with everyday! They make work so much better! :) So for Christmas this year we thought we'd do just a girls gift exchange....we drew names and then had our little party at the new Olive Garden in American Fork! We had so much fun....like always!Me & Brittany Jill & Angie
Little Jess (I'm taking her place in just a week because she is going to school in Idaho....we're going to miss her so much) & Shannon
Jessica & Shelley
Kristen & Paige
Rachel & KathyIn the far right corner is Shannon & Melissa....I didn't get a picture of them two down there because I was on the other end so this is the best shot I got.....ha right when Paige was going for a bite of her yummy food!
The only one who wasn't able to come was Susan, one of the hygenist, she was in Moab running a marathon....she was the one that I actually had so I gave her gift the day before she left! Everyone got such cute creative gifts, such as, a photo album of one of the girls two cute kids, cute frames, a little scrapbook of the Proclamation of the Family! We were all so spoiled!
Thanks girls for the fun day.....I love you all!!!
Sub For Santa at Work

This Christmas my work wanted to do something special for one of our patients who was having a really hard time right now with her and her family....so we thought it would be fun to give them something special this Christmas to make it a little brighter for them! Dr. Pitts had done all her front teeth with beautiful crowns for free so she would smile without being self-concious. We gave her a basket full of fun things such as, a red robe with red shimmery slippers, a Christmas book, lotions, and more. In the other basket, Macey's (the grocery store) donated a basket full of yummy food. In the little black book in the first picture had two visa gift cards of $500, so they can go get what they need for Christmas, $100 dollars to Maceys grocery store, $100 to scrubbs to get her car cleaned and detailed, a gift card to get her nails done by Jill, a gift card to get her hair done by Jessica's sister, a dinner out to the Melting Pot with her family on the 20th that is prepaid and a car that will pick them up to go up there, and a gift card to get a family picture done, my dad had made the cute frame in the second picture to put her family picture in!

How we delievered it to her was that we told her that we needed to have her come back for a check up appointment to make sure everything looks and feels good with her new smile! Well little did she know that we had done all this for her and we sat her in the waiting area and presented it to her. She was so happy and full of tears...she couldn't even speak! It was such a neat experience for me to see just because there are so many people who are struggling right now. She had said that she was so grateful for us to have done this and that its been so hard for her for so long that its been hard to keep her head up. We were all in tears, she was so sweet and so grateful that we would do this for her and her family! It was just what they needed to make their Christmas this year so much better!

I'm so grateful to be working with such amazing people who want to help others who are in need and especially to go all out like we did for her and her family. It not only made her and her family's Christmas that much better but also mine because it feels so good when you help others!

I promise you all when you help those who are in need it makes you so much happier and grateful for what you already have and I definately am! Thanks again girls and Dr. Pitts for making my Christmas that much better!

Merry Christmas To You All!!!
